If your stomach ever tries to tell you that the country fried steak lunch special at Landmark Diner is a good meal to order, don’t be fooled. Your stomach is a filthy lying slut.

The same goes for Landmark’s delicious patty melt. I wish they would close down the one across the street from my office just so that it wouldn’t play such games with my gastrointestinal tract.
Is country fried steak ever a good idea? I mean it’s tasty as hell, but I recognize that actually eating it means I have signed up for loudly and repeatedly wishing I was dead about 2 hours later.
Maybe it’s like Krystal. Sometimes, it seems like a good idea in the moment, but then afterward you realize you were horribly wrong.
Which landmark diner was it? I think your office is closest to the one at N. Avenue & P’tree, which is probably the worst of them. There’s a miniature one on Cheshire Br. that’s slightly better. The one just north of Buckhead, the original, is pretty good but the staff are assholes and the place smells kind of funny.
I suggest the one downtown across from the Rialto. I ate there a lot when I was still going to Georgia State. It’s the most consistent and easiest to deal with. All that being said, they’re a mini-chain of all night diners that aren’t in NYC, now good can they be?
It was the one downtown near Georgia State, actually. I forgot to mention the vegetables were shit too.
In my limited experience, just avoid Landmark altogether.
