I‘ve slept most of the day and am trying to wear myself out so I can sleep some more, so I went ahead and put this together. I’m pretty helpless right now, so it’s a good thing Amber is here. It hurts to move. I’ve been eating soup, yogurt and pudding. The drugs have got me pretty out of it. This is sort of like a less fun version of drunk blogging.

I guess it would have been better if I had one of those 3G Nokia phones and could have had a live video feed of them ripping me open on Ustream.

Wow man. Hope you are doing okay. What a fascinating and wonderful use of Twitter. I think the only question I had was how they let you use your phone right up until the surgery. Were you being all stealthy and stuff or did they think it was turned off or what?

I’ve seen those four little holes before. In my case, they were around my knee. And the doc said he took extra pictures because he knew I was a photographer.
Holes in your thorax is a bit more scary, I imagine. Glad to hear you came out if it still able to blog. And it’s been my experience that curmudgeons heal up pretty quickly. Rest up and get well soon.
