As Amber already noted, we’ll be participating in a panel discussion sponsored by TAG called Podcasts: What You Need to Know. Here’s the description from the web site:
TAG Content Management has assembled a panel of podcast professionals and marketing executives to give you insight into publishing audio online and to help you develop your related corporate strategies. Podcasts are changing the way organizations and individuals are interacting with their constituents. Hear our panel discuss a variety of topics including:
- Why have podcasts
- Podcasting best practices
- The role of Apple’s iTunes
- Real-world case studies
It’ll be held at The Macquarium Building Auditorium, 1800 Peachtree Street, Suite 250, Atlanta, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Admission is free for TAG members and $20 for everyone else.
I really have no idea what to expect. I hope I sound more articulate than I did in the intro to the Teaching an old dog new tricks session at PodCamp, where I mumbled something about a vacuum, was stricken with terror upon looking at the size of the crowd, and sat down.

Maybe you could eat one of those big ole dogs for your opening act tonight? If it wasn’t 20-smackers I’d come watch! But that’s my cocktail budget for the week.
Yeah, I wish it were free too, but they’ve got to pay for that fancy web site somehow. Too bad our equipment is packed away for moving, or I’d see about recording and podcasting it.
Our portable recorder isn’t packed away! But, it is at home, which doesn’t do us any good.
And, re: being stricken with terror at the size of the crowd… there are only 40 people coming to this thing, so I think you’ll be okay.
