Hello there blogosphere, so nice to see you. I know we haven’t spoken in a while… that you’ve missed my delusions of grandeur, and me your sweet vapid beckonings and promises of further insulating the already insular. Here’s what’s been going on lately:
- Movie review podcast on the Georgia Podcast Network! It’s on now that we’ve figured out how to incorporate sound effects on the fly. Look for more reviews in the future.
- I’m writing a program to collect NCAA Picks information this year. The back end is almost finished. It’s going to kick ass. More info to follow…

There’s some kind of geek-gasmic sweet spot you could hit with your Picks program if only there were some source for normalized NCAA weekly results marked up with XML. I don’t imagine anything quite so sensible exists.
I’ve had the same idea myself, and think it doesn’t exist either because of:
1) A legal issue, or
2) Everyone thinking someone else will do it.
Speaking of NCAA…have you started a dynasty in NCAA 2007 yet? I’m sure this is the real reason you’ve been posting so infrequently since last week.
Gah, no… I’ve just been getting exhibition games in here or there right now.
I am ready for the picks this year. I even have a better name then last years for my team.
