Despite the Den Mother and her roomate The Muse standing up Joseph, BJ, and I at trivia last night, we (team name: “Mr. and Mrs. Tenorman Chili”) did manage to muster up a 98-point finish. The good news is Alyssa and Darcey never get to make an “In Like Flint” joke again. The bad news is we didn’t win any money. Our rivals The Olson Twins pulled, I think, a second place finish. That will suffice for a trivia summary.
In other news, thanks to Garrett for hacking my Motorola e815 last night before trivia. The hacks will allow me to set up an MMS server where I can send photos and videos from my phone to my web site where they will be automagically hosted for free. Rawk. Now all I need is time to set up the server. Gah.
Also, I forgot to mention here it was the GDGF’s birthday last Sunday. I bought her a gift certificate for an hour-long massage and had a t-shirt made for her on Cafepress. Here she is modeling it:

I was a little confused to see MY PICTURE show up in your feed in Bloglines. For a second I thought I was looking at MY blog… but I didn’t remember having updated the post where I’d put up that same picture. Actually, we got third place on Wednesday. But since we came in first the week before, we still had like $50 to spend, and we also got a free pitcher to celebrate our one year anniversary of being the Olsen Twins, so it was all good. We’ve actually been represented all 52 weeks, too, which is amazing. I’ve only missed 3.

Something else that might interest you is someone already wrote a plug-in to post MMS messages directly to Wordpress blogs.
I use Gallery 2 at the moment, and want to find a way to put MMS photos into it. I bet at least some of the code could be reused between “post to Gallery 2 by MMS” and “post to Flickr by MMS” plug-ins. My schedule will get a lot lighter in December, so maybe we can work on something then.
I miss trivia… my friends and I used to play at Park Tavern over near Emory, and at Joes all the time… ah, the olden days.
