NCAA picks are due at midnight. That is all for now.

Reminder
New author
In the ongoing effort to open up lines of communication and then piss all over them, I’ve added the Artist Formerly Known as Conservative Eric a.k.a. Baby Evil to the Radical Georgia Moderate author roster. From what I gathered at trivia last night, he is toying with the idea of starting his own blog, and I want to encourage him to do so. Treat him well. Or don’t. He seems to like abuse.
I Hate You EA Sports and John Madden
I understand that hate is a strong word that should be reserved for Karl Rove and Barbara Boxer, but my hatred has finally gone beyond the realms of this world, and have now journeyed into the digital universe.

A word exercise
I would like for anyone reading this to think very hard about what your definitions of the following words and phrases are, and to leave a comment explaining your reasoning in as much detail as possible. Also, please compose your definitions in a text editor (Notepad, Textedit, etc.) BEFORE reading any comments responding to this post. This exercise will be much more interesting, I think, if the answers aren’t reactionary to something someone else wrote.
- Left wing
- Right wing
- Conservative
- Liberal
- Republican
- Democrat
- Libertarian
- Socialist
- Communist
- Populist
- Anarchist
- Moderate
- Centrist
UPDATE: I added “moderate” and “centrist” to the list, since I thought of them and no one had written definitions yet.

News round-up
I‘ve been a negligent blogger the past couple of weeks or so, what with real life getting in the way and all. Here are a few things to come up this week that should have been posts of their own, but will be relegated to bullet point format because of my general lack of time and wherewithal lately.

NCAA picks 2005: round 4 results, round 5 odds
I‘m not gay, but if there was a train to board to go suck Rick Clausen’s cock right now, I’d probably buy a ticket. That about covers it for this week.

Willful ignorance
Today’s Republican is like a 1980s rapper: “School be uncool, yo. Put down the books and pick up a gun.”
Substitute “newspapers” for “books” in the case of Republicans, and that should start to make more sense. Or maybe I’m tired and the comparison sounds more clever to me now than it really is.
That’s all I got.

School closings
I‘m last to this party because, well, I’ve been last to most parties lately. Here’s my question to you, since I don’t really feel like getting back on my blogging horse this morning: what do you think Sonny Perdue’s school closings (login) on Monday and Tuesday accomplish, good and bad?

Area white boy relates to Snoop
Now, that, I got me some Seagram’s gin
Everybody got they cups, but they ain’t chipped in
Now this types of shit, happens all the time
You got to get yours but fool I gotta get mine
I’ve been there, Snoop. I’ve been there.
Interview with Darcey of Strip Search City
The GDGF had the bright idea that, in the spirit of the Blorgy, ten local bloggers should interview each other in a rapid fire Q&A session of about ten questions and post the results simultaneously. Here, I interview Darcey of Strip Search City. If you’re interested, you can check out Joseph’s interview with me over at Monotonous. This interview was conducted Monday night over instant messenger, and has been edited some for typos and grammatical snafus, but not for content.
